Today is my moms Birthday! We will never be able to top what my dad pulled off 4 years ago to surprise her for her 75th! My dad arranged for the tenorsmusic (her favorite singers) to give her a private concert. He worked so hard to make it happen. And it was a magical day. I love you mom. You are amazing and good and have taught me so many things. I am proud to be your daughter. Thank you dad for always showing me and Juli what love for your person looks like. And thank you to The Tenors, your voices are spectacular but it's your hearts that make me proud to call you friends. #happybirthdaymom

Throwback Thursday to that time I officiated my TV sons wedding (10 days ago). I know I only pretended to be his mom, but just like a real one, I hoped Derek would find someone who loved him and liked him. Who was a true partner and friend. Lisa is all of those things plus hilarious, kind, beautiful inside and out, adventurous, compassionate and radiates love and goodness.
