Caleb Rogers, a 35-year-old Las Vegas police officer, has been charged with a string of casino heists and stealing almost $165,000. Rogers was involved in three robberies over four months and has been depicted as a compulsive gambler who became more insecure due to rising debts. He was armed with a police-issued weapon in at least one of the heists. Rogers is accused of escaping with more than $85,000 at the first two robberies that occurred between November 2021 and January 2022 at casinos off the Strip. An additional $79,000 was stolen from the Rio in February 2022.
