Sandi Toksvig has revealed what filming The Great British Bake Off was really like.  The presenter, 66, presented the show alongside Noel Fielding from 2017 to 2020 and was later replaced by comedian Matt Lucas.  Speaking on this week's Dish from Waitrose podcast, hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett, Sandi provided a rare insight into what being in the famous tent is like and divulged  bosses gave her a secret cheese fridge at the back to keep her happy. 

Little Britain began as a radio show before being turned into a comedy sketch TV series which aired on BBC between 2003 and 2006. And appearing on This Morning on Wednesday, co-creator Matt was quizzed on rumours of a reboot for a new generation. Matt teased the possibility of the show's return as he revealed that he and David had been working on several new ideas, both for TV and elsewhere. He said: 'Well what we're doing is we're working on a few different TV ideas, and maybe ideas in other mediums as well, to do stuff together again because it's been a long time.

With its floral bunting, pastel Kitchen Aids and cutesy cake stands, viewers may assume the Great British Bake Off tent is nothing but a warm and friendly place to work. Sandi Toksvig has revealed why she walked away from the 'biggest pay cheque of her life' hosting The Great British Bake Off. The TV star, 66, was a co-presenter of the show from 2017 to 2020 where she hosted alongside comedian Noel Fielding.  In 2020, she stepped down and was replaced by comedian Matt Lucas. Matt has since been replaced by This Morning's Alison Hammond.

According to MailOnline, Steve Wright was discovered dead in his apartment on Monday morning after ambulances were alerted to a 'incident.'
