Based on his experience, a man who had a brain tumour go undetected for eight years has outlined the key warning signs to watch out for. Multiple red flags should have prompted Matt Carpenter, author of My 10 Year Journey with a Brain Tumour, to return to doctors in the years after his tumour was discovered in a CT scan in 2010. Mr Carpenter was finally told in January 2018 that he had a low-grade glioma brain tumor, the size of a Cadbury's Creme Egg, and needed urgent surgery. He confessed to overly eagerness to things like high blood pressure and overworking, but he did not experience any of the more common symptoms. In a TikTok, he said, 'It's safe to say that I can probably tell you a few of the signs and symptoms of a brain tumor.'
