Marta Olehivna Kostyuk (born 28 June 2002) is a Ukrainian tennis player.
Early and personal life
Marta is the niece of Oleh Kostyuk and his wife, Talina Beiko. Her father, a professional tennis player with a career-high WTA ranking of No. 1, while her mother was a junior tennis player with a career-high WTA ranking of No. 1. 391, who won a $10k title in her home city of Kyiv in 1994 and starred on a Ukrainian tennis team. Taras Beyko's uncle is also a retired tennis player. Marta is the niece of collegiate tennis player Mariya Kostyuk, who competed for Chicago State University and Southeast Missouri State University. Marta is a cousin of professional football players Valiant Slavov and Myroslav Slavov.
Kostyuk began playing tennis at a young age at the Antey Tennis Club, on the west side of Kyiv, and was coached by her mother. "My mom was always working a lot as a tennis tutor," she said, and the first time I went to the courts to train was that I'd spend more time with my mother." So that was kind of my motivation – if I played tennis, I'd be around her more often." Taras Beiko, her maternal uncle, who had competed for Russia and Ukraine in the late 1980s and early 1990s, was also coached by her maternal uncle, who had competed for the USSR and Ukraine in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Career
Marta was crowned with the Orange Bowl in Florida in December 2015, winning the "14-and-under" tournament. She won the 2016 Petit As in Tarbes, France, in both singles and doubles (with Kamilla Bartone) the following month.
In January 2017, Kostyuk captured the Australian Open girls' singles championships. She won an ITF tournament in Dunakeszi (Hungary) in May without losing a single set, becoming the youngest Ukrainian to win a professional singles title. In September, she captured the girls' doubles title at the US Open, competing with Olga Danilovi. In October, she won the ITF Junior Masters in Chengdu, China, winning the year-end junior girls tournament.

Kostyuk made her first draw tour-level appearance at the Australian Open in 2015. She defeated Arina Rodionova, Daniela Seguel, and Barbora Krejková to become the first player born in 2002 to play in a Grand Slam main draw. Kostyuk became the first player to win a main-draw match in Melbourne since Martina Hingis in 1996. He defeated Peng Shuai in the first round. She defeated Australian wildcard Olivia Rogowska in straight sets in the second round. Mirjana Lui-Baroni, the youngest participant to reach the third round of a Grand Slam tournament since Mirjana Lui-Baroni appeared on the same stage at the 1997 US Open. However, she lost in round three to fourth seed and compatriot player Elina Svitolina.
In February 2018, Kostyuk won the Burnie International, a $60k tournament in Australia, and then reached the final of the Zhuhai Open, a $60k tournament, but did not have the same success in the remainder of the year.
She won two other ITF titles and advanced to the third round of the WTA tournament in Strasbourg in 2019.
Kostyuk won the Cairo Open in February. She also won the Cairo doubles tournament, competing with Kamilla Rakhimova. She competed in the qualifying round of the Prague Open following the break in the season triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the first round of the US Open, she defeated former top-ten player Daria Kasatkina in straight sets. She then defeated former semifinalist Anastasija Sevastova.
