Markus Eisenbichler (born 3 April 1991) is a German ski jumper. In December 2011, the Four Hills Tournament in Oberstdorf hosted his first FIS Ski Jumping World Cup debut.

Eisenbichler was the individual world champion on a large hill in Seefeld, Tirol, on February 23rd.

He took home two gold medals in the team event and mixed team competition later this year.

During the Ski Flying tournament in Planica on March 22, he won his first World Cup victory.

Career

In December 2011, the Four Hills Tournament in Oberstdorf hosted his first FIS Ski Jumping World Cup at the Four Hills Tournament in Oberstdorf. Eisenbichler made history by becoming the individual world champion on a large hill in Seefeld, Tirol, on February 23, 2019. He gained two gold medals in the team event and mixed team competition later that day. During the Planica Ski Flying Championship on February 22, he won his first World Cup victory. He received the bronze medal of the 2020 Ski Flying World Championships in Planica on December 12, 2020.
