Wimbledon is set for an emotional day should Andy Murray declare himself fit for one last campaign at the All England Club. Murray, who will give himself until the last minute to decide if he is able to play, is one of 12 Britons scheduled for singles action today. Defending women's champion Marketa Vondrousova will open proceedings on Centre Court while seven-time winner Novak Djokovic begins his bid to reclaim the men's title. Murray has been a headline act in SW19 since 2005 but this year is set to be his last appearance. Murray's participation has been in doubt since pulling out during his last-16 match at Queen's Club and undergoing surgery to remove a spinal cyst.

World number one Iga Swiatek moved into the quarter-finals of the French Open with a 6-0 6-0 demolition of Russia's Anastasia Potapova in 40 minutes on Sunday. Potapova was playing in the second week of a Grand Slam for the first time in her career, but Swiatek took full control of the play and gave the Russian no time to breathe between a flurry of points. Potapova attacked Swiatek's serve on the odd occasion to claim a couple of winners, but the Pole's near-perfect shots left the Russian with no answers as the top seed wrapped up the first set in 19 minutes.

The Prague Open begins on Monday and was predicted that a handful of Russian and Belarusian players, including Evgeniya Rodina of Russia and Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus, would compete as neutrals without having any national flag or symbol.
