Gemma Woods, 40, of Bury, Greater Manchester, pleaded guilty to being charged with a dangerously out of control dog after her Staffy-cross bit a postman and 'threw him like a ragdoll.' Mark Fox, who had been in the field for more than 20 years, was at Woods' home when he heard a dog barking ferociously. He heard a loud bang and saw the Staffy-Cross charging at him before it bit his lower leg, knocking him to the ground. The dog was carried around 'like a rag doll,' according to Minshull Street Crown Court.
