Mario Gomez has claimed Mesut Ozil may be attempting to become a 'little Cristiano Ronaldo', amid his post-retirement body transformation. Ozil, 35, enjoyed a distinguished career for the likes of Werder Bremen, Real Madrid and Arsenal before hanging up his boots last year after stints with Fenerbahce and Istanbul Basaksehir. The former attacking midfielder - who also won the 2014 World Cup with his country - was known for his technical style and skinny frame during his time in the game.

MICAH RICHARDS: Any tale about a final has two sides. It may seem that it should be obvious, but I'm not sure we're really considering it, particularly when an English team is competing for a European trophy. It's thrilling to see the commotion surrounding West Ham. They have arrived in Prague in droves, and winning the Europa Conference League would be a huge feat for them, but don't believe they are the only ones with dreams. Fiorentina's sense of destiny is just as strong. Fiorentina will always have a special place in my heart. I joined them on loan in September 2014 and, although I had reservations at first, they had been banned within a few weeks. It was one of my best decisions, with the opportunity to experience a new culture in one of the world's most historic cities.

MATT BARLOW: Rumblings on the banks of the Bosphorus have raged around Vodafone Park, Beşiktaş's historic home, embedded in its natural amphitheatre built by slopes rising steeply toward Taksim Square, which is curiously out of keeping with its setting beside Istanbul's Dolmabahçe Palace and the glittering sea. In 2007, they measured decibel levels of 132, a world record for a football match and undoubtedly not good for the ears. The entire place is starting to shake. This is a regular Monday night fixture, early in the season, broadcast live on television and still jammed with more than 40,000, with every single one of them seemingly jumping on the ground and contributing to the dine.
