Manushi Chhillar (born 14 May 1997) is an Indian actress, model, and the 2017 champion of Miss World.
At the Femina Miss India 2017 pageant, she represented Haryana, which she won.

Early life and education
Chhillar was born in Rohtak on May 14th 1997 as the head of a Haryanvi family, but her ancestral home is in Bamnoli village, Jhajjar district. Dr. Mitra Basu Chhillar, her father, is a scientist and researcher at the Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), while her mother, Dr. Neelam Chhillar, is both a medical doctor and departmental head of neurochemistry at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences.
Chhillar attended St. Thomas' School, New Delhi, and was the top-rated CBSE English subject in class 12, receiving 96 percent in her boards. In her first attempt, she passed the All India Pre Medical Test (now NEET). At the Bhagat Phool Singh Medical College in Sonipat, she was pursuing a medical degree (MBBS).
Except for her mother tongue, Haryanvi, Chhillar is fluent in Hindi and English. She is a qualified Kuchipudi dancer and has undergone her apprenticeship under Raja and Radha Reddy.
Acting career
Chhillar made her Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films' Samrat Prithviraj, directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The film is based on Prithviraj Raso, an epic poem written in Braj Bhasha about Prithviraj Chauhan, a Rajput king from the Chahamana dynasty. She was cast in the film as the Princess of Kannauj, Sanyogita, Prithviraj's wife, following several auditions and trails. Akshay Kumar, who will play the titular role Prithviraj, will appear alongside her.
In 2020, the film was initially expected to be released on the occasion of Diwali, but it was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Chhillar continued exploring her role: "It's a huge responsibility to play princess Sanyogita, a strong personality who spoke up for what is right and made the most significant decisions of her life," Chhillar said.
Chhillar has signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films, and her second film, The Great Indian Family, is a comedies film produced by the banner and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, where she will star Vicky Kaushal. In Dinesh Vijan's Tehran, she will appear alongside John Abraham.
