BBC fans have been left devastated after a popular teen spin-off drama was dramatically axed following a cliffhanger ending, after just two seasons. The reboot's second instalment dropped in May and was on BBC iPlayer for fans to sink their teeth into - however, the joy was short lived as it won't be returning for a third season.

Kit Connor is best known for his role in the Netflix rom-com "Heartstopper" which follows teenagers as they navigate their way through school, their emotions, and their sexual preferences. Although the series itself celebrates LGBTQ+ characters in a charming manner — giving several of them ample time to come out in their own time — many of the show's compassionate messages seem to have been lost on several, as shown by Connor's latest article.
The "Rocketman" actor took to Twitter on Oct. 31 to say he is bisexual, but later said he was forced to come out after being harassed by fans. "Back for a second," the actor wrote. i'm bi.
