Sheffield United and Burnley will require the greatest of escapes when it comes to their battle to survive the drop. The Blades are ten points off safety, and failing to beat 19th place Burnley will mean it's almost curtains time on their latest stint in the Premier League.  Burnley though could close the gap to three points this weekend if they beat Luton Town, and Nottingham Forest lose to fellow relegation rivals Everton.

JOE BERNSTEIN: Burnley's general manager, Vincent Kompany, has barred striker Lyle Foster from participating in the Africa Cup of Nations while recovering from his mental illness. Foster has been selected in South Africa's provisional 50-man team for AFCON, which will begin in Ivory Coast on January 13.
