According to the NYPD, Lourdes Camilo, 53, was waiting to cross the intersection of Melrose Avenue and 157th Street in the Bronx when she was struck by the first car, a white Jeep, about 7:10 p.m. The woman was then thrust into the air and into a second Jeep, this one traveling in the opposite direction at a high rate of speed, according to the clip. The woman, who is supposed to be a mother of four children, is now seen dead on the pavement. At the hospital, she was declared dead. During the time of impact, the first car sped away, leaving Camilo dead on the street. The second, which was led by a 53-year-old female, stayed behind, as police continued to announce that Camilo had been just steps away from her house when she was struck.

Luis Morales, a 19-year old pitcher, has been selected for free agency by Major League Baseball. As of September 7th, the highly coveted prospect is expected to sign with any team and is expected to receive a record signing bonus for a pitcher. Morales are now in the Oakland Athletics' case.

On Tuesday, Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx suspended the sentencings due to Reynaldo Guevara (left)'s activities between 1989 and 1996. Following a 2019 investigation into charges of the cop's police misconduct, she also stated that she would no longer oppose post-conviction lawsuits in the cases. Danny Colon (bottom left), Johnny Flores (bottom right), Nelson Gonzalez (top left), Marilyn Mulero (top right), Jaime Rios, Carlos Andino (center right), and Alfredo Gonzalez (center right) had their convictions quashed. Louis Robinson's eighth case is pending ahead of further court hearings.
