Netflix viewers are hoping for a prequel series after watching the season finale of the streaming platform's hit show. The show was recently renewed for another season after its main character made a shocking move.

Fans of popular Netflix show Emily in Paris have taken to social media to share their theory on a major character on the series. Viewers have said Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo, is 'looking older and less hotter' in the latest season and this could be an indication he is leaving the show. A video was shared to Instagram by Nova FM's Jase and Lauren breakfast show, of the hosts discussing the season four finale.

The first half of the fourth series, starring Lily Collins as the eponymous Emily, is now streaming on Netflix and fans (myself unashamedly included) have been binge-watching the lot. We've waited almost two years for the latest instalment - series three premiered in December 2022 - and this one picks up where the last left off. Emily is still torn between her two loves, 'Hot Chef' Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) - whose fiancée, bisexual Camille (Camille Razat), stormed out of their wedding and announced her pregnancy in the closing moments of series three - and suave businessman Alfie, played by British actor Lucien Laviscount.

It's finally back after a two-year hiatus, but Emily In Paris fans were left choking on their buttered croissants after settling down to watch the first five episodes of season four on Thursday. The show, starring Lily Collins as its fashion obsessed titular character, has enjoyed enormous success following its initial launch on Netflix in 2020. Now into its fourth season, the show returned on August 15 with five new episodes of an expected ten, but viewers were divided after watching them back-to-back.

Every street in Paris is a catwalk, and no one knows this better than Lucien Laviscount. The actor on "Emily in Paris" is known for his dapper wardrobe appearance in the hit Netflix show Alfie, but the actor has also demonstrated his style transcending his persona as he attended the Louis Vuitton fall/winter menswear preview at Paris Fashion Week on Jan. 1901. Danyul Brown, Laviscount, arrived on the show wearing a look straight from Louis Vuitton's spring/summe catwalk. He teamed the sky blue short-sleeved jumper with a blue pleated skirt with asymmetric hem worn over zip fronted wide-leg trousers in the same fabric and colour. Designers are well into Mens Fashion Month for Fall 2023, beginning with a bang. In other words, as the weather is still cooling, we're already looking forward to the brisk winds of next year. Bravo kicks off the action by accidentally saying what sounds like "One's a stuffed assh*le" in a kitchen scene, causing Collins to burst out into laughter and excitedly respond, "That has to go in the blooper reel!" Highlights include Laviscount splashing Champagne, Bruno Gouery (Luc), and Samuel Arnold (Julien) having a giggling match in the office together, and Park performing a Justin Bieber tune in the middle of a scene. Mindy Chen's sky-high heels are also very difficult to walk in, as shown by Park tripping on Paris's streets numerous times. She treats each fall like a pro, but instead of starting right back into her conversations as if nothing happened. In addition, viewers get a glimpse at Collins' real-life drama by pretending to cut her bangs. "Am I supposed to do it? With a pair of scissors tied to her hair, she says, "oh f*ck."

"Emily in Paris" on Netflix returned to a third season on December 21. And, it's getting a bit exciting. Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins) plays double agent for Madeline (Kate Walsh), her American boss, while her French boss, Sylvie, is pulled in a different direction by her French boss, Philippippine Leroy-Beaulieu). And if she mentions, she has a new love interest, Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), in the photo, but Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) is still lurking in the background. The love triangles, workplace drama, and European escapades with Mindy (Ashley Park) and Camille (Camille Razat) aren't the only reasons to watch. Season three, as well as the two before it, is packed with luxurious outfits and runway-worthy hair and makeup moments (as well as those aspirational eyebrows).
