A room full of reporters got off on the wrong foot with Manchester City's Erling Haaland, last weekend, after failing to say greet the star striker. Haaland was attending to media duties at a pre-season press conference on Saturday, before City took on AC Milan in a friendly at the New York Yankee's stadium. But the conference got off to a stuttering start after Haaland walked into the room without so much as a 'hello'.

Manchester City suffered their second straight preseason defeat on Saturday night as they fell 3-2 to AC Milan at Yankee Stadium. Erling Haaland opened the scoring for the reigning Premier League champions in the 19th minute, but Milan flipped the game on its head with two goals from 22-year-old Lorenzo Colombo within four minutes of each other. City, who played a youth-heavy lineup, lost control of the game and registered just three shots on target, though they were on their way to a draw when James McAtee equalized with a 56th minute header.

England defeated Italy thanks to Rhian Brewster's early brace as they continued their preparations for the U21s Euros. Brewster put the young Lions up for a commanding position early on as he followed up his 3rd minute penalty goal by netting from the centre of the box two minutes after midfielder Angel Gomes was brought into play. Before the break, Chelsea defender on-loan at Brighton Levi Colwill struck the post with a header. Italy fought back in the second half as they tried to find a way back into the match as Nicolo Fagioli, Lorenzo Colombo, and Caleb Okoli all tried to find the net.
