My Policeman, based on author Bethan Roberts' 2012 book, is set in 1957 Brighton, England, where Styles' Officer Tom conceals his sexual identity by dating Marion (Corrin), but simultaneously has a mystery, illicit friendship with a museum curator named Patrick (Dawson). The characters in older ages are also shown in this teen and '90s, with Tom played by Linus Roache, Marion by Gina McKee, and Patrick by Rupert Everett.
