Carlos Parra, a well-known Norte music performer, has died. The performer was the lead singer of Los Parras, Mexico's most popular Mexican-American group. They are a trio of Mexican-born brothers who attended high school together in Phoenix, Arizona, before embarking on a life as musicians touring the American southwest and northern Mexico. Carlos was killed in a car crash outside Hermosillo, Mexico's city. He was just 26 years old.
