A man has won a planning battle with neighbours to keep statues of military aircraft and a 'Game of Thrones dragon' that critics claimed made his property look like a 'theme park.' Lee Norris, 52, erected the four planes around the front of his detached home and the dragon artwork on the roof of his car port at Hibaldstow, North Lincolnshire. They go alongside his other ornamental curiosities, including a vintage tractor, red telephone box and an 'array of rusting garden equipment.' Mr Norris, who said he was proud of his house and garden, was forced to apply for retrospective planning permission to keep his unusual displays on show. He then faced a battle with local residents who disapproved of his unique decorations.
