Caroline Ellison, the ex-girlfriend of FTX ringleader Sam Bankman-Fried, wrote a Bridgerton style romance novel as she waited to be sentenced for her role in the $8 billion crypto fraud. Larry David announced he is embarking on a tour that will take him to 10 different cities across the United States this fall. A Conversation With Larry David will kick off on September 20 following a previously announced show in Denver, Colorado , before wrapping in Hollywood, Florida in December. The comedian, 77, will also have stops in Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Chicago . 'The show will be a informal discussion about [his] time on Seinfeld, Curb, and everything in between,' according to Live Nation.

Investors and customers of Sam bankman-Fried's failed crypto currency exchange FTC are set to recover all of the money they lost following the firm's collapse, and then some, bankruptcy filings revealed.  FTX, which was at the heart of one of the biggest fraud cases in US history, will have between $14.5 billion to $16.3 billion to pay its estimated 9 million creditors and customers back for money and assets they took.  Under a restructuring plan a federal court in Deleware, almost all of FTX's customers and investors, which included hundreds of thousands of normal people, will receive cash payments equivalent to 118% of the assets they stored on FTX. 

Jerry Seinfeld revealed that an extended cut exists of the 'bearded lady' scene on the series finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm while promoting his new movie Unfrosted. The 70-year-old comedian filmed the hilarious scene with series creator Larry David, 76, and during an appearance on Tuesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live was asked about it by Jimmy, 56. 'I even went back and re-watched it to make sure that I was seeing what I thought I saw. It had nothing to do with the show at all,' Jimmy said.

Patrick Gruhn triumphed in a fierce bidding war on Saturday to secure the gold pocket watch worn by John Jacob Astor IV on the doomed ship when it went down in April 1912. Gruhn was head of the company's European business when FTX collapsed in late 2022 after stealing $8 billion from investors. They have yet to see any of their money returned while Gruhn has agreed to pay just $33 million of the $323 million that FTX paid him for his business in what receivers have described as a 'massive overpayment'. 'The irony of this cannot be overstated,' tweeted finance writer Erin Arvendlund.

Former FTX chief, Sam Bankman-Fried, who is currently serving 25 years behind  bars has reached an agreement with investors to settle their civil claims. Bankman-Fried will cooperate in a class-action lawsuit targeting celebrities who promoted FTX with the aim of resolving current and future civil claims. The list of celebrities include Tom Brady, Shaquille O'Neal, Stephen Curry, Shohei Ohtani, Gisele Bundchen, Larry David, and others.  Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years for embezzling $8 billion from FTX customers. He has appealed his conviction and is currently being held in Brooklyn pending transfer to prison.

Residents of Montecito were sent angry letters from Santa Barbara County after they passively deposited boulders along the highways outside their mansions. The homeowners were trying to discourage visitors from visiting the spectacular trail outside their house that leads to hidden-gem hot springs that had been parking on their street. The county sent letters on March 18 to 11 homeowners who live on East Mountain Drive and Riven Rock Road. The letters demanded that the wealthy people be able to clear the blocks within ten days because the roads are a 'public right of way.' The angry homeowners must obtain an encroachment license, which is mandatory for anyone who wants to make any encroachment along or on any county road, according to county officials.
