The former San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins tight-end Ware, 41 (inset and right during arrest), was charged with murder and tampering with a corpse after killing and burying the 29-year-old Pomaski (left). Her remains were discovered in December in northern Harris County, but she wasn't identified until April 29, 2022. Ware killed Pomaski before lighting her body and then burying what was left of her. According to KPRC-TV's latest court records, she was buried what was left of her. If found guilty, Ware will face a minimum of 15 years to life in prison if convicted.
