Early life
O'Hara was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma, with an Irish American family. She graduated from Deer Creek High School and later attended Oklahoma City University, receiving a bachelor's degree in vocal performance/opera. Career
Jekyll & Hyde, one of O'Hara's first professional appearances, appeared in a national tour of the musical Jekyll & Hyde in the United States. She appeared as Young Hattie in the 2001 Broadway revival of Follies and then appeared as Young Phyllis. Susan was last seen in Sweet Smell of Victory on Broadway in 2002. She appeared Albertine in the Off-Broadway Playwrights Horizons production My Life With Albertine in 2003 and Barbara Westenra in the Broadway revival of Dracula, the Musical.
