Keegan DeWitt (born April 8, 1982) is an American film composer, singer-songwriter (of the indie rock band Wild Cub), and actor.
He was raised in Oregon and now resides in Los Angeles.
Early life
Keegan was born in Bend, Oregon.
Film composing career
DeWitt wrote the score for New York Times Critics' Pick Dance Party USA in 2005, and in 2007, he earned Quiet City, which was also a NY Times Critics' Pick and Independent Spirit Awards nominee.
DeWitt directed Cold Weather, which premiered at the 2010 South by Southwest film festival and was acquired and released by IFC Films. He appeared in two films at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. The first film, The Good Life [HBO], was produced by Sean Fine and his partner Andrea Nix-Fine. This Is Martin Bonner, a narrative film directed by Chad Hartigan, was the second in a series.
He has worked on Facebook, Merrell, Lincoln, Amtrak, Country Time Lemonade, Save The Children, and others. He is also known in the cycling world for his scores on the viral Rapha Cycling videos.

Recording career
DeWitt has joined with fellow Nashville, Tennessee artist Jeremy Bullock to create Wild Cub for the first time since the '70s.' "Youth" was their debut 13-song full length album on August 2013. "Closer," their sophomore 11-song LP, was released in 2017. Wild Cub has appeared at SXSW, Bonnaroo, CMJ, and other major festivals, and has been featured in publications such as PASTE, MTVHive.com, SPIN, RCRDLBL, The Line of Best Fit (UK), Clash Music (UK), and others.
DeWitt began performing as an actor and composer in New York and also as a performer songwriter on New York's Lower East Side. He was producing demos and recording regularly with Roman Candle, a band that also featured her brother Timshel, Skip Matheny, and his younger brother Logan Matheny (also of The Rosebuds) on drums.
