Strictly Come Dancing fans spotted a 'new curse' after JB Gill ended up in the dreaded dance off on Sunday night. JLS star JB and Amy Dowden found themselves in the bottom two with Paul Merson and his pro partner Karen Hauer.

Paul Merson became the fourth celebrity to depart the dancefloor in Strictly Come Dancing 2024 during Sunday night's results show.  The former footballer, 56, and his pro partner Karen Hauer left the competition following a dance off against JB Gill and Amy Dowden during the fourth results show of the series. Both couples performed their routines again - Paul and his partner Karen, 42, performed their Samba to Car Wash by Rose Royce. 

Strictly Come Dancing's Toyah Willcox has become the second star to leave the show after she landed in the bottom for a second week on Sunday - following her husband Robert Fripp booing the judges.  The 80s singer, 66, and partner Neil Jones, 42, were eliminated from the competition after losing the dance off to footballer Paul Mearson and partner Karen Hauer following Movie Week.  Following the judge's decision Toyah gushed over 'phenomenal' Neil and declared her experience on the show 'the best two months of my life!.  

Craig Revel Horwood has come under fire for making an ill-judged comment about booze to recovering alcoholic Paul Merson on Strictly Come Dancing. The judge, 59, was giving feedback to the former footballer, 56, after he danced a Salsa to Pitbull's Fireball with partner Karen Hauer. In the routine Paul was cooking at a BBQ with a drink in his hand before ditching the glass and beginning the choreography.

Karen Hauer turned heads on Friday in a skimpy black bikini as she joined her Strictly Come Dancing co-stars for a relaxing spa day at The Bath House in London.  The Strictly professional, 42, looked incredible as she showcased her toned stomach in the stylish two-piece which boasted an asymmetrical bikini top and a pair of thong bikini bottoms.  The beauty completed her spa look with a green bucket hat and seemed in high spirits as she posed up a storm with her pals including Lauren Oakley, 33, Jowita Przystal, 29, Nancy Xu, 33, Rosa Carnevila, Luba Mushtuk, 34, and Michelle Tsiakkas, 28. 

The Strictly pros were spotted making their way into rehearsals on Wednesday after more stars were confirmed for this year's line-up. Karen Hauer and Dianne Buswell flashed their toned abs in leotards and crop tops as they headed into the studio. The professionals were all smiles after it was confirmed that TOWIE's Pete Wicks and the Love Island star Tasha Ghouri would join JLS star JB Gill and blind comedian Chris McCausland. 

Will Young has claimed that he felt 'pressured' to continue with Strictly Come Dancing after threatening to quit the show due to his severe agoraphobia. The singer, famously quit the BBC show back in 2016, and in a new interview, has claimed that he was warned the channel would 'never work with him again' if he chose to pull out of the programme.  At the time Will cited 'personal reasons' and 'anxiety' as the reason for his and his partner Karen Hauer's departure from the show after week three, and he went onto reveal that he entered therapy after considering suicide in the wake of his exit.

Hairy Biker Dave Myers has been posthumously honoured with the freedom of his hometown, four months after he passed away. The famous chef, from Barrow-in-Furness, sadly died in February nearly two years after the 66-year-old revealed he was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer.  Barrow Town Council awarded Myers with the honour, thanking him for his 'valuable and sterling service to the Barrow community and the promotion of civic pride,' the BBC reported.

The Strictly professionals have sparked romance rumours after reportedly coupling up during rehearsals for their spin-off tour.  The dancers are currently on the road with the Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals live UK tour which began in Birmingham at the start of this month. And the pair have been getting close after they were spotted entering and leaving each other's rooms, The Mirror have reported.
