Hersha Parady, a Prairie girl, has died as a result of a brain tumor battle. Alice Garvey, a retired Walnut Grove schoolteacher, died at the age of 78. Hersha died in Norfolk, Virginia, on Wednesday at her son's home. Jonathan Peverall, her son, confirmed the sad news to The Hollywood Reporter.
