www.popsugar.co.uk, June 13, 2024

Since the death of her husband, The Wanted singer Tom Parker, in 2022, Kelsey Parker has continued to admirably raise awareness about brain tumours, while documenting her life after Tom and navigating grief as a solo parent to their two children Aurelia Rose, four, and Bodhi Thomas, three.

Tom was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2020. Despite this, he continued in his efforts to raise awareness about brain tumours and even held a charity concert with his former band and other pop stars like Becky Hill, Liam Payne and McFly. Tom sadly passed away two years later aged just 33, but Kelsey is striving to continue his legacy.

YouTubers who claimed it's cheaper to fly to Poland for your weekly shop at Lidl than going to your local branch reveal their full shopping list

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 6, 2023
Joshua Pieters (right in first picture), 30, and Archie Manners (left in first photograph), both from London, became so ill from the UK's cost of living that they tested how high everyday food prices were compared to a store in mainland Europe. The 30-year-olds spent £164.47 in Lidl's Clapham Junction store, southwest London, before finding cheap return flights to Poznan, Poland, for a total £48. The pair's international Lidl store, which sold the same 25 items such as butter, crisps, and bread, costing the equivalent of £96.75. The cost of flights, public transport, and a £8.55 overnight stay at a bedsit dented their remarkable £67.72 savings, but they were still left with £11.14 in profit. The pair are seen on the left outside Lidl in Poznan, and on the right, they are in the airport heading back to the United Kingdom.

Two YouTube pranksters have taken on the spiralling cost-of-living crisis with a daring challenge that answered the age-old question: 'Is it cheaper to fly to Poland to do your grocery shop?' The pair purchased the shopping list of items used by the government to measure inflation before boarding a budget flight to central Europe and picking up the same items in a comparative store, which was shown to their 1.47 million subscribers.
