Donte DiVincenzo of New York turned the ball over to Ausar Thompson, causing the Pistons to win 111-110. DiVincenzo sank into his knees as the rookie attempted to dribble the ball across the court, causing him to trip and collapse. Rather than blowing the whistle on clear contact, the authorities permitted play to continue as Jalen Brunson retained possession for the Knicks.
