Josep Lobató i Pérez (born in Esplugues de Llobregat) is a Spanish radio and television presenter. He researched architecture and mingled these studies with several courses of communication and show presenting. He began participating in radio broadcasting when he was 16 years old and has appeared in many radio or television shows, as well as published numerous books.
He has also worked in academic conferences and some journals. In 2007, Ponte a Prueba (Put Yourself to the Test) received an Ondas Award for Best Radio Program.
Personal life
Josep was diagnosed in 2015 with a demyelinating disease that causes him to have trouble speaking. Josep was no longer able to continue his broadcast media duties due to the effects of the disease. Since then, he has undergone speech therapy.
