A nine-year-old Argentine boy with a promising career in motorbike racing died Monday, just days after crashing during a practice session in Brazil. Lorenzo Somaschini was participating in a first free practice when he crashed at the Interlagos track in southeastern city of São Paulo on Friday, the event organizer SuperBike Brasil said in a statement. Somaschini, a native of the Argentina central city of Rosario, suffered serious injuries from the fall and was stabilized in the racetrack's emergency room.
