Today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were asked whether they are getting advice from the right people or even listening to what they are saying. Following Meghan's first Spotify podcast and a long chat with The Cut, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have sparked a string of events over the past week. In the podcast, the Duchess revealed her aides' stumbling blocks, saying she had to carry on with a South Africa tour despite a fire breaking out in son Archie's room. She also warned in The Cut that she might'say something' now that she has left The company. Many people are now asking 'who is advising them and why are they making so many PR blunders,' royal expert Phil Dampier told MailOnline this afternoon. The commentator said, 'Meghan really wants to be in control,' meaning they are'simply not taking the advice given to them.' Whether their PR people are bad at their work or not ignoring them is either missing them or ignoring them,' Mr Dampier said, adding that the couple is making a "big mistake." Archewell executive director James Holt, president Mandana Dayani, and senior strategic advisor Genevieve Roth are among their most important consultants. Ashley Momtaheni and Christine Schirmer, as well as business manager Andrew Meyer, are among those who will be giving the Sussexes advice. Meanwhile, audio chief Rebecca Sananes and content director Ben Browning are both involved in the 'Archetypes' Spotify podcasts, which first appeared last week.
