Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick told how Mayall had helped his band in 'ushering in a new era for the Stones' as the band's guitarist Ronnie Wood called him a 'musical trailblazer for all of us'. Mayall stopped touring in 2021 because of health issues, which his family referred to when they announced his passing.
