In leading the victory charge in Hyderabad last week, Tom Hartley enjoyed his most highly rated Test debut by an England bowler in 47 years. Hartley, a left-arm spinner from Lancashire, won by 28 runs over India in the second innings, taking his match haul to nine wickets and earning 332 points in the ICC's ranking system. The 24-year-old lands in 63rd place on the charts, 13 behind West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph, whose dismissal of Australia's batting in Brisbane on the same day moved him up 42 places.
