King Boris III of Bulgaria, (left) who ruled from 1918, died aged 49 in 1943 in suspicious circumstances. It was first reported that the Bulgarian monarch died of a heart attack but, 80 years on, journalist Becky Milligan alongside Boris's children King Simeon II, 86, and Princess Marie Louise, 91, (top inset) look into if he was actually murdered in podcast The Butterfly King. In August 1943, during a crucial turning point in the Second World War , Boris had a meeting with Hitler, (bottom inset) which lasted eight hours and apparently went badly. Two weeks later, the king was dead.

Following Auston Matthews' latest hat trick against Philadelphia, a Toronto Maple Leafs fan almost cost him his prized fedora. When a man seated behind him was able to grab his brown $300 Stetson and fling it onto the ice at Scotiabank Arena, season ticket holder John Hamilton, 73, was celebrating Matthews' three-goal effort in a victory over the Flyers. Hamilton told the Toronto Sun, 'I was surprised.' I thought it was a joke at first, too, until I realized my hat on the ice.' A video of the incident has gone viral, showing the younger fan blaming his colleague and cameraman for his overexuberance.
