Johannes Radebe (born on the 27th of April 1987) is a South African dancer and choreographer.

Early life

Radebe was born in Zamdela. He is gay and has spoken out against homophobic bullying that he suffered as a child. He and his sister attended a dance school in their hometown area. He began dancing lessons in Gauteng province at the age of 11, and he attended secondary school in Ennerdale, Johannesburg.

Career

Radebe has won the Professional South African Latin championships twice and three times as the Amateur Latin South African champion.

Radebe appeared on SABC 3 and Dancing with the Stars on M-Net in 2014 and was a professional dancer on South Africa's version of Strictly Come Dancing. Radebe will appear on the cast of professional dancers on the British Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, although he was not given a partner in his first season. Radebe was announced as a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef in 2021.

He choreographed Rusical themed on RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World in 2022.

In his first competitive appearance in this series, he was partnered with actress Catherine Tyldesley. In week 6, the couple were disqualified, placing them in 11th place with an overall average score of 25.5.
