The biggest crash at Talladega in NASCAR Cup Series history unfolded inĀ Alabama on Sunday as 28 cars were caught up in a chaotic wreck. Only a handful of drivers survived the pile up at Talladega Superspeedway, which occurred with five laps to go of the YellaWood 500, when race leader Austin Cindric was shoved by Brad Keselowski's Ford. Keselowski had been tapped by Joey Logano and within moments a chain reaction left more than two dozen cars spinning off the track.

Footage from NBC shows Berry's car going off the rails after a bump from Cindric's car. Several NASCAR fans demanded for Cendric to face punishment for derailing Berry. Due to two days of rain at Daytona International Speedway, NASCAR has postponed the season-opening Daytona 500 until Monday. The race had been planned for Sunday afternoon but the weather had put it into question all week. The last session for drivers, as well as the Xfinity Series series, was called off on Saturday. The Xfinity Series race is now scheduled to begin on Monday morning, just hours before the Daytona 500's 4 p.m. start. Joey Logano is expected to start from the pole for Team Penske.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr, a NASCAR racer, survived a frightening crash at Charlotte Motor Speedway after it caught fire during the race. During the 96th lap of the championship, Stenhouse Jr. was compelled to turn around on the side of the track after the broadcast revealed fires shooting up from underneath his car. Multiple crew members from both teams are shown on video footage as a result of a series of racing accidents along a line. A man was pushed into the No. 1st. A 42 purple car, which resulted in the vehicle's right front fender being completely deformed.
