You've NOT got the X Factor! After receiving a slew of lawsuits about tone-deaf artists butchering songs and singing too loudly, the city council has cracked down on 'bully buskers.'

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 7, 2023
EXCLUSIVE: They're usually a welcome accompaniment on town center shopping trips, but business and customers in one city have expressed concern that buskers are too loud - or too untalented. The riot in Norwich, one of the few places that do not require street performers to have a license, has broken out. Locals claim the resultant free-for-all by the market means they are swamped by substandard and tone-deaf performers, many of whom crank their amps to their limits, drowning out conversations up to 150 feet away. Drunks and heroin users have also been accused of getting into the game to make some money for their next bottle or fix, though police have dismissed charges involving the racket. The historic cathedral city of Norfolk is rewriting its plan in the hopes of a more upscale atmosphere. However, the buskers themselves have retaliated, with some saying, 'people should be allowed to go out and sing.'
