Horrifying moment train ploughs into truck carrying 134-foot concrete beam

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 21, 2022
A video footage caught the terrifying moment a train collided with a truck carrying a 134-foot concrete beam, causing a massive derailment and multiple injuries. Nobody was killed when the train ploughed into the truck in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Tuesday, miraculously. The semi-truck had crossed the tracks, but the trailer carrying the massive concrete truss bridge beam was still over the tracks as the driver waited for a traffic light to change. A dramatic video shows how the train's pilot attempts to slowed as much as possible before the tragedy. However, the train derailled with enough power to derail three locomotives and ten railroad cars. The concrete beam was utterly destroyed by the force of the blast, which also caused a fire. Photographs of the aftermath depict a slew of train cars strewn along the tracks.
