But Jessica Wilson, a registered dietitian, wasn't so sure the evidence linking these foods to poor health was as clear cut as it seems. Seeking to defend diet staples that millions of Americans rely on every day, Ms Wilson ate a diet almost entirely of processed foods for a month. This included things like tofu, oat milk and grain free granola, as well as familiar favorites like hot dogs.

Ethan Mason was pulled from the burning building in Wigan by his brave father Barry, 45, who reportedly ran back inside to try and save his son after the inferno broke out at around 1am on Sunday. Barry tragically died later that day before Ethan too succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday after undergoing major surgery in hospital. In a heartbreaking tribute on social media, Ethan's aunt and Barry's sister-in-law Jessica Wilson wrote: 'Little Ethan decided he didn't want his daddy to be alone, and he is now back in his arms.' Ms Wilson has since set up a GoFundMe page to help her grieving relatives, which has so far raised nearly £30,000.

Ethan Mason was pulled from the building on Warrington Road, Wigan, after his 'dad ran back inside to save his little boy', his family said.Tragically, his father, aged 45, died from his injuries. The youngster was left critically injured and fighting for his life, having suffered 86 per cent burns to his body, his aunt Jessica Wilson said on a Go Fund Me page. He was placed into an induced coma and underwent major surgery but he died in hospital on Tuesday morning, police said. Four other people are still receiving treatment for their injuries. Greater Manchester Police added.
