Sara Evans, a country singer, has announced that she and her husband Jay Barker are back together, more than two years after she separated and was jailed for assault. On the first episode of her podcast, Diving Deep with Sara Evans, Evans, 53, confessed to reconciling and being together married, where she talked about the incident that resulted in his detention in 2022. Barker, 51, was arrested after reportedly attempting to assault Evans and her companion with his car but failed. He was charged with felony aggred assault with a rifle and then plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of reckless endangerment.
