Melissa and Jason Diaz have filed a lawsuit against the Huntington Reproductive Center in Pasadena, and Dr. Bradford Kolb has argued that he wrongfully implanted an embryo that was positive for a fatal stomach cancer gene. They found out about the mix-up when they wanted to have a second child, at which time the center attempted to cover it up. A gay couple has sued the hospital, but a gay couple has sued the facility, claiming that they only cared for sons but that they had a daughter by survivor.
