Jaromir Jagr, 52, is set to finally retire from professional hockey. The former Pittsburgh Penguins star is now playing back home for the Kladno Knights, whom he owns as well. And after writing on his Instagram page earlier this week that this would be his 'last season', Jagr confirmed to The Athletic that this season would be his last.

One of the greatest hockey players of all-time, Jaromir Jagr, has paid tribute to his former teammate, Johnny Gaudreau, less than a week after his death in a tragic cycling accident. Jaromir Jagr, a legend in the NHL, has revealed his ascension to the ice began at the age of seven thanks to a rather organized training regimen. Jagr, who played competitive hockey in his Czech Republic for 51 years, told Barstool's Spittin' Chiclets podcast he was squatting 1,000 times a day at the tender age.
