My nephew is a lil chess champ in the making. For Christmas, I decided to make him pieces that represented the family (Dad & Mom are King & Queen). Thank goodness he loved it, bc frankippolito had to teach me how to mix, pour, and sand resin! Last pic: He even took his trophies out to pose with it. 😭 #chess #chesskids #handmadegifts

50 years ago, yesterday, my mother landed in America. This year, as we celebrated Diwali at the White House, we were also quietly celebrating her HALF CENTURY, here. Thank you #VinayReddy for what you do in the room where it happens, lizhart_ hedieh_flowers for making it special & everyone there who echoed postus’s reminder that The Whitehouse is ALL of ourseses house.
