From a distance, Ambuluwawa Tower, an hour south of Kandy, appears innocent enough, but closer inspection shows that inside is a very narrow spiral staircase winding its way to the top, with stone railing that is barely waist high. Janet Newenham, the operator of 'Janets Journeys,' filmed herself scaling the stairs with her nerve-shredding video revealing that this is definitely not a climb that anyone with a fear of heights or who suffers from claustrophobia.'
