On Friday, WA police fired off a 309-word missive to warn underworld officers what they should expect from cops in the coming months, including visits from the gang war squad 'day and night.' It also warned that under tough economic crime regulations, they could be confiscated and their assets frozen. The letter arrived just hours before legendary ex-Hells Angels bikie Dayne Brajkovich, 44, was stabbed in the neck around 9.50 p.m. at the Ministry of Sound Classical EDM festival in Perth's Kings Park and Botanical Garden.

Jamie Ginn, 50, was arrested on drug- and firearms-related charges on October 10 at the Perth watch house. Ginn was reportedly sick of a seizure, and despite the heroic efforts of first responders, he was unable to be saved. On Friday, as many as 100 mourners turned up at Pinneroo Valley Memorial Park, north of Perth, to say their final goodbyes to Ginn. Several Rebels were seen riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles escorting the hearse with Ginn's body inside the memorial. Rebels members were not allowed to display any gang colours or insignia on the ride under 2021's legislation.
