Early in his career he gained much attention online specifically Vine for his impressions. Most notably Robin Williams, Ian McKellen, Owen Wilson, Johnny Depp, George W. Bush, Jeff Goldblum, Matthew McConaughey and Harrison Ford.
In July 2015, Jamie moved to LA to continue his career in acting and filmmaking and has since appeared in various film and television projects both on screen and as a voice over artist. The footage has been received positive responses from critics and audiences, with Costa's performance being the subject of articles from outlets such as CNN, USA Today, The National Post, and People Magazine. The footage sparked fans' interest for a feature length biographical film starring Costa.
