Senate Republicans are dissatisfied with their leadership for a lack of clarity on what will be contained in a critical border security and humanitarian agreement that no one outside of a select group of senators has seen. Sen. James Lankford, R-Ky., and Independent Senator Krysten Sinema, Arizona, were assigned by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. For the past four months, talks have been going on for the longest time. However, to many senators' apprehensions, no words has been given about what will be in the future package. 'What's holding this up is that there isn't a bill,' Utah Sen. Mike Lee told DailyMail.com, 'what's holding it up is that there isn't one.' We haven't seen text.' Senator James Lankford, a Republican, lives on his deep faith in his work as Oklahoma's top senator. In an exclusive interview last week, he said, 'My passion for religious liberty stems from my personal belief, that I have the ability to live my faith, practice my faith, and talk about my faith.' The freedom of worship is not the object of worship, not faith.' You have the right to worship as you please. It's the freedom of faith that is the subject of discussion. It's the right to have a faith and live that faith. And so that's been a concern to me,' he said. Lankford spent 22 years in religious ministry before entering the political arena. Those years gave him an uncommon insight into the fundamental right of individuals to choose their own faith, which has been 'core' of who he has been his whole life. 'For me, protecting the rights of a Christian, a Muslim, a Jew, an atheist, whose case may be, is vital.' Under the Biden administration, the senator said that unfortunately the "basic right" has been attacked.
