Colby Richards, 31, was last seen by his wife, Callie Richards (seen at left and with her husband at top right), who awakened early Friday to find her six-foot-three husband strangely missing from her bedside. Richards and his wife Julia live in a heavily wooded neighborhood north of Houston, and their sons were notably left through the back gate for what his wife hopes would be his regular 5am workout. The fact that the gate was inexplicably left ajar is making police believe the dad wandered into 28,000 tree-filled acres behind the house, causing further concern, she told reporters Monday. They have since found a Yeti coffee tumbler belonging to the beloved dad, but have found no leads beyond that. Residents and law enforcement are now canvasing the woods in search of Richards, an engineer, part-time baseball coach, and father to a three-year-old daughter and one-year-old boy, with more questions than answers.
