Deadliest Catch announced the passing of another cast member in its latest episode. In Season 20, Episode 16, Titan captain Jake Anderson receives devastating news while filming on the ship: his close friend and shipmate Tom Brossard has died. During a phone call with his wife Jenna, Jake learns that Tom, 64, passed away in his home in the Philippines. 

Jake Anderson (left) had just bought his first home and was living with his partner Jessica Brooke (right) and her daughter Evie before he died on January 30 while living in Engadine in the city's south. After reports that one of two men working on a roof had been wounded, emergency crews were sent to a butcher shop (inset), but only Mr Anderson's injury was fatal. Mr Anderson and Ms Brooke's family friend has since established a GoFundMe to ensure that his son and daughter have a place to live 'as they go into the challenging times ahead.'
