A24 unveiled the official trailer for its nostalgic teen disaster comedy Y2K on Tuesday.  The R-rated film, starring Rachel Zegler (West Side Story), Jaeden Martell (It),and Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), envisions a world where the Y2K computer crisis predicted for the year 2000 actually unfolds. Written and directed by Saturday Night Live alum Kyle Mooney, Y2K centers on best friends Danny (Dennison) and Eli (Martell), who decide to crash a New Year's Eve party on the last night of 1999. 

More than two years after it was officially announced, Max's IT prequel series Welcome to Derry is finally moving forward, with a familiar face. The HBO streaming service first announced Welcome to Derry in March 2022, set in the sleepy town of Derry, Maine in the 1960s, before the events of the IT movies. While none of the kids from the original 2017 IT movie were expected to return, Bill Skarsgard - who played Pennywise the Clown - will reprise his role, via Deadline .
