Tobin Pico, an armed criminal who fired at police while fleeing detention, was shot and killed by a sniper, according to Arizona police. Pico was arrested about 5:30 p.m. at a gas station on the corner of West Ina Road and Old Father Drive on February 10. As cops attempted to issue handcuffs, he managed to escape and started rushing through traffic. Pico pulled out a handgun during the pursuit, according to a video shared by the Pima Regional Critical Incident Team. As the perpetrator was walking behind a building, an officer fired from about the corner and was able to shoot him. Pico got back to his feet and ran around the corner where police and Pico shot at each other.
