LUTON 3-0 WATFORD - DOMINIC HOGAN AT KENILWORTH ROAD: Luton's return to the Championship has not quite gone to plan so far, starting the day in 21st after nine games, but the Hatters' three-game winless run came to an end in the best way possible with a 3-0 M1 Derby win over Watford. Against a febrile backdrop Watford were almost gifted a dream start three minutes in when a nervy Tom Holmes nearly lobbed his own goalkeeper from 35 yards. Luton looked shaken. But it was the Hatters who drew first blood. A firm Holmes volley from a corner went in off Jordan Clark on 11 minutes to wrong-foot Daniel Bachmann. Kenilworth Road erupted.

On bodycam footage, Brown can be seen approaching the officers despite not having anything to do with the incident. Brown is seen dressed in black with a hood tightly fastened. At first, he walks down the street near his home, but for no apparent reason, he suddenly jumps into the road to attack the officers.

Following a VAR investigation, Gary Neville accuses Luton's Jacob Brown of "intent" of trying to'significantly harm' Phil Foden
www.dailymail.co.uk,
December 10, 2023
Gary Neville has sent a punch to Luton forward Jacob Brown, a tackle on Phil Foden that may only have caused him to'significantly damage' the Manchester City star. Pep Guardiola's team came from behind to stop the winless Premier League run and defeat Luton 2-1 at Kenilworth Road, but Neville was quick to jump on Brown's lunge after the game. Neville, who condemned the attempted tackle as the sort of threat that every footballer dreads, took to social media to condemn the Scottish international and his motives. "I said this a few weeks ago and not the Sky Sports pundit," the Sky Sports analyst said. Just because a player leaps in like that doesn't mean that every professional hats that match more than any other. The intention can only be harmful to your opponent.'

2-1 Luton Town: After being kicked out of the top three by Everton's point deduction, the newly promoted side wins their first home Premier League victory of the season
www.dailymail.co.uk,
November 25, 2023
With a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, Rob Edwards' side put clear daylight between themselves and the bottom three teams, despite Everton's 10-point deduction this week. They had to work hard for it and had to rely on their luck at times. Michael Olise was inspired by the visitors, who also saw a goal blocked by VAR, and Hatters goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski had to be at his best. Edwards' men were dogged and steadfast, and took their chances when it was relevant. They scored three points that changed the complexion of the relegation war, with Tedem Mengi and Jacob Brown scoring either side of Olise's spectacular equalizer. This was Luton's first home victory in the Premier League, and their first in the top flight since defeating Aston Villa in 1992, when boss Edwards was just nine years old. Last week, the Welshman marked his one-year as Hatters' boss, and what a great way to commemorate. The Kenny has returned, woowooah,' and at this rate, they may be here to stay.'

Fans of Luton Town were taken for a first glance at Kenilworth Road's new stand before the Bobbers opened their Carabao Cup match against Gillingham for the first time. Following promotion to the Premier League with a victory over Coventry in June, the Hatters had to rebuild their stadium to meet the league's requirements. They were forced to postpone their first game back in the top flight against Burnley because the £10 million upgrade to the Bobbers' stand wasn't ready, but the Carabao Cup match was finally announced. The new stand was at 75% capacity for the game against Gillingham and will now face West Ham in Premier League action on Friday night. Fans inside didn't have to wait long to see the first goal, while in the newly revamped stadium as Luton opened the scoring within two minutes due to Jacob Brown's opener.

Stoke 3-1 Stevenage: Jacob Brown, Josh Laurent and Lewis Baker on target for The Potters
www.dailymail.co.uk,
January 29, 2023
ADAM SHERGOLD AT THE BET365 STADIUM: This was one FA Cup miracle far enough for Stevenage, but the conquerors of Aston Villa may have a rousing conclusion. Stoke had been on the offensive team, but there was a strong sense that the League Two underdogs could have caused more mischief when Jamie Reid burst through to cancel out Jacob Brown's early goal. Steve Evans and his naughty crew weren't expected to be here this time. When Josh Laurent's screamer resurrects the Championship team's lead, Lewis Baker makes sure with a penalty, the celebrations in the away end had barely ended.
Stoke 3-0 Hartlepool: In a 'professional effort' against the League 2 team, the Potters have two own goals
www.dailymail.co.uk,
January 8, 2023
Stoke's trip to Hartlepool had the potential to cause an FA Cup shock: a struggling Championship team faces a lower-league squad who was showing signs of improvement in cold and wet weather. However, Alex Neil admitted that after watching Stoke brush aside their League Two opponents with relative ease, he may not have wished for a more pleasant afternoon. Hartlepool made it possible for the Potters by scoring two of the visitors' goals through defenders Euan Murray and Rollin Menayese, either side of Jacob Brown's brutal finish just before halftime.
Two teenage boys were slain in Oregon in 1974, and an Army vet was sent to assist them

The slaying of two teenage boys in 1974 has an Army veteran who served time for killing a commanding officer in 1976. Steven Paul Criss, 65, has been charged with the shooting murders of Peter Zito and Donny Bartron on October 3, 1974. When they were fatally shot in a recreation center in Oregon, the two men were riding a motorcycle. Criss had been identified as a perpetrator and had ballistics conducted on the weapon used before, but the testing did not match at the time. Criss fired his commanding officer five times in the head two years after they were fired. Ballistics were also used to connect the man to the crimes at the time.
